The Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), 36-32 in Friday's league test.
The Noises (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Portland (Portland, CT). The Highlanders go into the Shoreline test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Portland got by Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 70-59, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Westbrook for a Shoreline test on Monday, February 6. Old Lyme will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 53-29 league loss to Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Knights record now stands at 0-17.
