Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hardin County Tigers (Savannah, TN), 61-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Lexington upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Tigers travel to McNairy Central (Selmer, TN) to play the Bobcats in a 3A District 11 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 5-11. McNairy Central lost 74-68 in their recent league bout against Chester County (Henderson, TN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Chester County Eagles (Henderson, TN) in a 3A District 11 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Hardin County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 74-68 league win over McNairy Central (Selmer, TN).
