In Friday's league outing, the Harding Academy Lions (Memphis, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS), by a count of 58-57.
The Lions (6-11) will now prepare for their outing against St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Gryphons go into the Division II-A West District 6 outing with a 11-9 record.
The Trojans now hold a 6-12 record. They play next when they host First Assembly Christian for a Division II-A West District 6 outing on Monday, February 6. Northpoint Christian will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 59-57 league win over Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN). The Crusaders record now stands at 16-4.
