In Friday's league outing, the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds (Hays, MT) basketball squad felled the visiting Turner Tornadoes (Turner, MT), by a margin of 84-64.
The Thunder Birds (1-13) will now prepare for their outing against Chester-Joplin-Inverness (Chester, MT). The Hawks go into the C District 9 outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Chester-Joplin-Inverness thwarted North Star (Rudyard, MT), 57-46, in a non-league outing.
The Tornadoes now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Chinook for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4. Turner will clash with a Beeters squad coming off a 75-64 non-league loss to Harlem (Harlem, MT). The Beeters record now stands at 4-9.
