Georgia High School Basketball - Monroe Area trounces Hebron Christian Academy

The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Hebron Christian Academy Lions (Dacula, GA), 68-44 in Friday's league test.
The Purple Hurricanes (20-3) will now prepare for their test against Stephens County (Toccoa, GA). The Indians go into the AAA Region 8 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Stephens County was trounced by Hart County (Hartwell, GA), 69-62, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a AAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, February 7. Hebron Christian Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 56-53 league loss to Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Lions record now stands at 5-18.
