North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Pines overwhelmed by Hoke County

February 3, 2023: Raeford, NC 28376

The Hoke County Bucks basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Union Pines Vikings to 47 in the Bucks league victory on Friday.

The Bucks now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinecrest for a 3A/4A Conference 24 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Hoke County will battle a Patriots team coming off a 81-78 league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 12-9.

The Vikings (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Cavaliers come into the 3A/4A Conference 24 contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, Southern Lee was routed by Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 55-47, in a league contest.
