New York High School Basketball - Kellenberg Memorial can't hold off Holy Trinity

The Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds basketball team (Uniondale, NY), was nudged 55-53 in Friday's league battle with the host Holy Trinity Titans (Hicksville, NY)
The Titans now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monsignor Farrell for a non-league battle on Sunday, February 5. Holy Trinity will battle a Lions team coming off a 47-43 league win over St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY). The Lions record now stands at 15-5.
The Firebirds (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against St. Mary's (Manhasset, NY). The Gaels come into the Catholic Nassau Suffolk battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, St. Mary's was nudged by St. John the Baptist (West Islip, NY), 86-74, in a league battle.
