The Hoosick Falls Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians to 35 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stillwater for a Section 2 Wasaren - A contest on Tuesday, February 7. Hoosick Falls will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-64 non-league loss to Hoosic Valley (Schaghticoke, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 13-4.

The Fordians (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Saratoga Central Catholic (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Saints come into the Section 2 Wasaren - B contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Saratoga Central Catholic was defeated by Greenwich (Greenwich, NY), 75-47, in a non-league contest.
