North Carolina High School Basketball - South Johnston knocked off by Hunt

The Hunt Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting South Johnston Trojans to 47 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Johnston for a 3A Conference 21 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Hunt will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 64-60 league win over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-9.

The Trojans (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors enter the 3A Conference 21 contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, East Wake ran past Fike (Wilson, NC), 55-46, in a league contest.
