The IDEA Riverview Rockets basketball team (Brownsville, TX), was overwhelmed 58-33 in Friday's league battle with the visiting IDEA Sports Park Stingrays (Brownsville, TX)
The Stingrays now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monte Alto for a 3A Region IV District 32 battle on Monday, February 6. IDEA Sports Park will confront a Blue Devil team coming off a 78-38 league loss to Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Blue Devil record now stands at 4-16.
The Rockets (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, TX). The Warriors come into the 3A Region IV District 32 battle with a 21-7 record. In their last battle, Santa Rosa trounced IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX), 79-45, in a league battle.
