Florida High School Basketball - International Community trounces Lake Mary Prep

February 3, 2023: Winter Park, FL 32792

The International Community Comets (Winter Park, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Lake Mary Prep Griffins (Lake Mary, FL), 68-34 in Friday's non-league test.

The Comets (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Orangewood Christian (Maitland, FL). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 6-17 record. In their last test, Orangewood Christian was trounced by Winter Springs (Winter Springs, FL), 78-45, in a non-league test.

The Griffins now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they travel to Halifax Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 8. Lake Mary Prep will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 58-15 non-league win over First Baptist Christian Academy (Bunnell, FL). The Knights record now stands at 21-2.

International Community

Congratulations to Colin Fletcher for being selected the International Community Basketball Player of the Game.
