The Iroquois Chiefs basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Sweet Home Panthers to 40 in the Chiefs league victory on Friday.

The Chiefs now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamsville East for a Section 6 Erie County II contest on Tuesday, February 7. Iroquois will battle a Flames team coming off a 76-54 non-league loss to Niagara-Wheatfield (Sanborn, NY). The Flames record now stands at 7-8.

The Panthers (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against Alden (Alden, NY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Alden was routed by Griffith Institute (Springville, NY), 72-50, in a league contest.
