The York Institute Dragons basketball team (Jamestown, TN), was nudged 54-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN)
The Blue Devils now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clay County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Jackson County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-26 league win over Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-3.
The Dragons (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Cookeville (Cookeville, TN). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 12-10 record. In their last battle, Cookeville edged Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN), 70-56, in a league battle.
