California High School Basketball - Lathrop overwhelms Johansen

February 3, 2023: Lathrop, CA 95330

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA) and the visiting Johansen Vikings (Modesto, CA), saw Lathrop's basketball squad wallop Johansen by a tally of 83-40.

With the victory, Lathrop improves its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Patterson (Patterson, CA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 16-9. Patterson won 63-48 in their recent league challenge against Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Beyer Patriots (Modesto, CA) in a Western Athletic Conference challenge, on Monday, February 6. Johansen will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 16-10 record after their 62-29 league win over Davis (Modesto, CA).
