The Johnson County Longhorns tipped the host West Greene Buffaloes basketball team by a final score of 58-51 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN) in a 2A District 1 game, on Tuesday, February 7. Johnson County will attempt to move on its 10-11 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 1-20 record after their 69-42 non-league loss to Cosby (Cosby, TN).

With the defeat, West Greene moves to 11-15 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Gibbs (Corryton, TN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 12-9. Gibbs lost 70-50 in their recent non-league battle against Halls (Knoxville, TN)
