With the victory, Thornwood improves its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Little Village (Chicago, IL) to confront the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 20-5. Little Village lost 47-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Julian (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Kays confront the Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 5. Kankakee will attempt to improve on its 18-8 season record. The Caravan come into the challenge with a 21-5 record after their 71-68 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, WI).
