The South Beauregard Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Kinder Yellowjackets to 33 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sulphur for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. South Beauregard will meet a Golden Tors team coming off a 43-27 league loss to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Golden Tors record now stands at 20-7.

The Yellowjackets (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Westlake (Westlake, LA). The Rams enter the 3A District 3 contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Westlake triumphed over Jennings (Jennings, LA), 50-35, in a league contest.
