Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host King Panthers (Houston, TX), 54-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Summer Creek upgrades its record to 23-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Atascocita (Humble, TX) to play the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 20-10. Atascocita won 60-51 in their recent league bout against North Shore (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. King will attempt to upgrade on its 8-18 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 24-8 record after their 70-53 league loss to Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX).
