Lanham Christian Lions (Lanham, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD), 61-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Lanham Christian upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Lions travel to Word of Life Christian Academy (Springfield, VA) to play the Ambassadors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Ambassadors go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Word of Life Christian Academy won 55-40 in their recent non-league bout against IMG Academy Gray (Bradenton, FL)

Next up, the play the Takoma Academy Tigers (Takoma Park, MD) in a Maryland Independent bout, on Wednesday, February 8. King's Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record.
