In Friday's league outing, the La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY), by a margin of 76-53.

The Cadets (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY). The Brothers go into the non-league outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Christian Brothers Academy smashed Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY), 68-57, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to North Warren Central for a non-league outing on Sunday, February 5. Mohonasen will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 82-40 league win over Fort Ann (Fort Ann, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 13-4.
