Port Huron Big Reds (Port Huron, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI), 56-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Port Huron upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Big Reds travel to L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 10-3. L'Anse Creuse won 77-43 in their recent non-league bout against Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI)

Next up, the Huskies play the Madison Eagles (Madison Heights, MI) in a Macomb Area - Bronze bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 58-46 non-league win over St. Clair (St. Clair, MI).
