Stockbridge Panthers (Stockbridge, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lakewood Vikings (Lake Odessa, MI), 48-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Stockbridge upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lansing Christian (Lansing, MI) to play the Pilgrims in a Greater Lansing bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Pilgrims go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Lansing Christian lost 58-48 in their recent non-league bout against Genesee Christian (Burton, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI) in a Greater Lansing bout, on Monday, February 6. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 77-43 league loss to Olivet (Olivet, MI).
