Laneville will confront a Pirates team coming off a 49-30 league loss to Martinsville (Martinsville, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 11-13.

The Mustangs (5-23) will now prepare for their battle against Neches (Neches, TX). The Tigers come into the 1A Region IV District 27 battle with a 21-8 record. In their last battle, Neches beat Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX), 64-39, in a league battle.
