Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX) and the host MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX), saw Lanier's basketball squad knock off MacArthur by a count of 62-45.

With the victory, Lanier upgrades its record to 12-17 on the campaign. The Voks travel to Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX) to play the Eagles in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 17-10. Brackenridge lost 39-36 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Brahmas play the Burbank Bulldogs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 4-26 season record.
