The Laughlin Cougars basketball team (Laughlin, NV), dropped 51-41 in Friday's league battle with the host White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV)

The Bobcats now possess a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Needles for a 2A Southern battle on Saturday, February 4. White Pine will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 61-58 league win over Lincoln County (Panaca, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-9.

The Cougars (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Mead Academy (Henderson, NV). The Eagles come into the 2A Southern battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, Lake Mead Academy dropped by Needles (Needles, CA), 71-62, in a league battle.
