Rocksprings Angoras (Rocksprings, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Leakey Eagles (Leakey, TX), 65-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Rocksprings upgrades its record to 24-4 on the season. The Angoras host Medina (Medina, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 1A Region IV District 31 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Medina lost 63-37 in their recent league bout against Leakey (Leakey, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Leakey will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 20-4 record after their 59-49 league win over Knippa (Knippa, TX).
