The Silverton Foxes (Silverton, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Lebanon Warriors (Lebanon, OR), 49-43 in Friday's league test.

The Foxes (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Central (Independence, OR). The Panthers go into the 5A Mid-Willamette test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Central got by South Albany (Albany, OR), 56-55, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host West Albany for a 5A Mid-Willamette test on Tuesday, February 7. Lebanon will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 63-57 league win over Woodburn (Woodburn, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.
