Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), 97-52 in a league bout.
With the victory, Salisbury upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a 1A/2A Conference 33 bout on Friday, February 10. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 11-11.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 33 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 87-65 league win over West Davidson (Lexington, NC).
