Nevada High School Basketball - Needles nips Lincoln County

February 3, 2023: Panaca, NV 89042

Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV), 61-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Needles upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Mustangs travel to White Pine (Ely, NV) to play the Bobcats in a 2A Southern bout on Saturday, February 4. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 7-15. White Pine won 51-41 in their recent league bout against Laughlin (Laughlin, NV)

Next up, the Lynx play the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights (Las Vegas, NV) in a 2A Southern bout, on Saturday, February 4. Lincoln County will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 58-51 league loss to The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV).
