Connecticut High School Basketball - Shepaug Valley thwarts Litchfield

The Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) basketball knocked off the host Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT), 72-60 in Friday's league test.

The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Wamogo (Litchfield, CT). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Wamogo notched a victory over Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT), 74-63, in a non-league test.

The Cowboys now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Gilbert for a Berkshire test on Tuesday, February 7.
