The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Lumberton Raiders to 32 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 22-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jasper for a 4A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Little Cypress-Mauriceville will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 101-63 league loss to Silsbee (Silsbee, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-9.
The Raiders (15-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Cardinals enter the 4A Region III District 19 contest with a 18-14 record. In their last contest, Bridge City ran past Vidor (Vidor, TX), 59-57, in a league contest.
