The Cougars (15-13) will now prepare for their game against Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX). The Jaguars enter the 5A Region I District 8 game with a 14-17 record. In their last game, Midlothian Heritage knocked off Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 76-61, in a league game.

With the defeat, Mansfield Summit moves to 23-4 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX) to face the Wolves in a 5A Region I District 8 game on Saturday, February 4. The Wolves enter the game with a record of 15-12. Mansfield Timberview won 73-53 in their recent league game against Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX)
