The Maple Valley Lions basketball team (Vermontville, MI), was routed 77-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Olivet Eagles (Olivet, MI)
The Eagles now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a Greater Lansing battle on Tuesday, February 7. Olivet will battle a Ramblers team coming off a 55-35 league loss to Leslie (Leslie, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 4-11.
The Lions (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI). The Vikings come into the Greater Lansing battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Lakewood was routed by Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI), 48-27, in a league battle.
