California High School Basketball - North Salinas knocked off by Marina

February 3, 2023: Salinas, CA 93906

The Marina Mariners basketball team scored 50 points and held the host North Salinas Vikings to 34 in the Mariners league triumph on Friday.

The Mariners now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenfield for a PCAL - Cypress contest on Monday, February 6. Marina will meet a Bruins team coming off a 56-48 league win over Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 4-13.

The Vikings (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Gonzales (Gonzales, CA). The Spartans enter the PCAL - Cypress contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, Gonzales ran past King City (King City, CA), 59-54, in a league contest.
