In Friday's non-league match, the host Marion County Warriors basketball team scored a decisive 66-36 triumph over the Whitwell Tigers.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the Brainerd Panthers (Chattanooga, TN) in a 2A District 4 match, on Tuesday, February 7. Marion County will attempt to better on its 9-17 season record.
