The Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX), 70-59 in Friday's league test.
The Texans (24-7) will now prepare for their test against Lamar (Arlington, TX). The Vikings go into the 6A Region I District 8 test with a 4-21 record. In their last test, Lamar went down by Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 45-37, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 25-4 record. They play next when they host Grand Prairie for a 6A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, February 7. Martin will encounter a Gophers squad coming off a 57-38 league loss to South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Gophers record now stands at 8-21.
