The Mason Comets tipped the host Middletown Middies basketball team by a final score of 58-57 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Comets face the Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) in a Greater Miami game, on Tuesday, February 7. Mason will attempt to move on its 14-6 season record. The Firebirds enter the game with a 6-14 record after their 50-49 league loss to Sycamore (Cincinnati, OH).
With the defeat, Middletown moves to 12-9 on the year. The Middies travel to Sycamore (Cincinnati, OH) to face the Aviators in a Greater Miami game on Tuesday, February 7. The Aviators enter the game with a record of 16-5. Sycamore lost 54-49 in their recent non-league game against Kings (Kings Mill, OH)
