Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX), 47-41 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Rowe improves its record to 15-14 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX) to confront the Raiders in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 15-16. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North won 56-50 in their recent league challenge against Valley View (Pharr, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. McAllen Memorial will attempt to improve on its 24-6 season record. The Javelinas come into the challenge with a 3-22 record after their 70-46 league loss to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX).
