The McBain Ramblers topped the visiting Northern Michigan Christian Comets basketball team by a final score of 54-42 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Ramblers face the Roscommon Bucks (Roscommon, MI) in a Highland test, on Tuesday, February 7. McBain will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Bucks go into the test with a 4-10 record after their 63-53 league loss to Houghton Lake (Houghton Lake, MI).
The Comets now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Northern Michigan Christian will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 75-63 non-league win over St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 12-1.
