Ohio High School Basketball - Meigs topped by Vinton County

The Vinton County Vikings basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Meigs Marauders to 63 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hope Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Vinton County will battle a Statesmen team coming off a 66-59 non-league win over Northmor (Galion, OH). The Statesmen record now stands at 10-7.
The Marauders (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Alexander (Albany, OH). The Spartans come into the Tri-Valley I contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Alexander prevailed over Trimble (Glouster, OH), 54-42, in a non-league contest.
