Massachusetts High School Basketball - Minnechaug Regional can't hold off West Springfield

The West Springfield Terriers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Minnechaug Regional Falcons to 37 in the Terriers league victory on Friday.

The Terriers now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pittsfield for a Suburban - North contest on Friday, February 10.

The Falcons (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA). The Generals come into the Suburban - North contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Pittsfield edged Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA), 71-68, in a non-league contest.
