Nashoba Regional Chieftains (Bolton, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA), 80-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nashoba Regional upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA) to play the Colonials in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Colonials come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Shrewsbury lost 68-33 in their recent non-league bout against Waltham (Waltham, MA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. North Middlesex Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 84-74 non-league loss to Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA).
