In Friday's league outing, the Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Sealy Tigers (Sealy, TX), by a margin of 59-46.

The Bluejays (10-16) will now prepare for their outing against Bellville (Bellville, TX). The Brahmas go into the 4A Region IV District 25 outing with a 16-10 record. In their last outing, Bellville was beaten by Navasota (Navasota, TX), 52-40, in a league outing.

The Tigers now own a 11-14 record. They play next when they host Royal for a 4A Region IV District 25 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Sealy will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 61-48 league loss to El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 12-12.
