The Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), 66-64 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Model (Richmond, KY). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 10-13 record. In their last test, Model was tipped by North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY), 72-62, in a non-league test.

The Bluejackets now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Raceland for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Nicholas County will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 51-41 league loss to Russell (Russell, KY). The Rams record now stands at 9-12.
