North Carolina High School Basketball - North Duplin crushes Union

February 3, 2023: Calypso, NC 28365

North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), 75-45 in a league bout.

With the win, North Duplin upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Rebels travel to Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a 1A Conference 10 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Rosewood lost 64-59 in their recent league bout against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) in a 1A Conference 10 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-19 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 51-47 league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC).
