North Carolina High School Basketball - North East Carolina Prep overwhelmed by Riverside-Martin

The North East Carolina Prep basketball team (Tarboro, NC), was overwhelmed 85-55 in Friday's league battle with the host Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC)

The Knights now possess a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington County for a 1A Conference 2 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Riverside-Martin will confront a Panthers team coming off a 60-31 league win over Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 17-1.

The (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Red Barons come into the 1A Conference 2 battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Gates County was overwhelmed by Washington County (Plymouth, NC), 60-31, in a league battle.
