Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Florence Bruins (Florence, SC) and the visiting North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC), saw South Florence's basketball squad knock off North Myrtle Beach by a count of 67-48.

With the victory, South Florence upgrades its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to West Florence (Florence, SC) to play the Knights in a AAAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 16-8. West Florence lost 56-42 in their recent league challenge against Hartsville (Hartsville, SC)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Myrtle Beach Seahawks (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a AAAA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. North Myrtle Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 70-41 league loss to Wilson (Florence, SC).
