Louisiana High School Basketball - Ruston knocked off by Ouachita Parish

The Ouachita Parish Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Ruston Bearcats to 52 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Ouachita for a 5A District 2 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Ouachita Parish will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 65-32 league loss to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-21.
The Bearcats (22-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels enter the 5A District 2 contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Pineville ran past Alexandria (Alexandria, LA), 75-62, in a league contest.
