Underwood Rockets (Underwood, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Parkers Prairie Panthers (Parkers Prairie, MN), 63-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Underwood upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Rockets host Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN) to clash with the Battlers in a A Section 6 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Battlers go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Battle Lake won 74-52 in their recent league bout against Brandon/Evansville (Brandon, MN)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Hancock Owls (Hancock, MN) in a A Section 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Parkers Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 55-54 league win over Ashby (Ashby, MN).
