West Plains Wolves (Amarillo, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX), 45-39 in a league bout.

With the win, West Plains upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Wolves host Borger (Borger, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-21. Borger lost 64-49 in their recent league bout against Dumas (Dumas, TX)

Next up, the Rangers clash with the Randall Raiders (Amarillo, TX) in a 4A Region I District 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Perryton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 21-9 record after their 68-64 league win over Hereford (Hereford, TX).
